SMS / Text Messaging Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

VoxRelay is an appointment-confirmation service operated by Humanjava Enterprises Inc. (British Columbia, Canada). This page describes the VoxRelay SMS program: what text messages we send, how each recipient opts in, how often messages arrive, and how to stop them.

1. Message Types

TypeWho receives itExample
Appointment messages Clients of a business that uses VoxRelay Confirmations, reminders, reschedule options, and waitlist offers for an appointment the client booked with that business.
Login & verification codes Anyone who requests one (account login or identity verification) A one-time 6-digit code, sent only in direct response to that person entering their phone number on a VoxRelay page.
Business-owner notifications Business owners with a VoxRelay account Daily status updates and weekly summary reports about their own appointment activity.

2. How People Opt In

a) Clients of a business (appointment messages)

When a business owner adds a client to VoxRelay, the owner confirms they have the client's consent to receive appointment-related messages about bookings the client made with that business. Every message identifies the business, notes it was sent via VoxRelay, and includes opt-out instructions. These are transactional messages about an existing appointment under an existing business relationship (CASL implied consent for Canadian recipients; transactional consent for US recipients).

b) Login & verification codes (user-initiated)

A person visits a VoxRelay page — for example confirm.voxrelay.app/me (to view their own appointment data) or the VoxRelay sign-in page — types their own phone number into the form, and submits it to request a code. The code is sent once, immediately, only to the number entered. No recurring messages result from a code request.

Your VoxRelay code is: 123456

c) Business owners (account notifications)

During VoxRelay signup, the business owner provides their phone number and agrees to receive account notifications by text. Notification preferences can be changed any time in the VoxRelay dashboard.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
